My Story
From burnt out behind the chair to building the business
I actually wanted.
I moved to a new city with zero clients and had to start completely from scratch. I did everything the influencers told me to do. Posted constantly. Handed out cards. Obsessed over my client experience. Begged for referrals. Nothing worked - until I stopped following beauty industry advice and started applying actual marketing and sales fundamentals from industries that actually know how to grow a customer base.
Then everything changed. I went from zero to three months booked solid, with five new client requests a week, doing exactly the services I wanted, with exactly the clients I loved.
But being fully booked brought a whole new problem. I was overworking. I was saying yes to everyone. With my ADHD, things were constantly falling through the cracks. I couldn’t keep up, couldn’t slow down, and couldn’t see how any of this was sustainable long term.
So I built systems. Automations. Boundaries. The kind of infrastructure that let my business run without me having to hold every single piece of it in my head at all times. I stayed fully booked. I made more money. And I got my life back.
Now I teach other stylists to do the same. I’ve been guiding stylists to six figures and beyond for over half a decade - not because it’s trendy, but because I genuinely care about this industry. I’m still behind the chair to this day, walking my talk.
